GLOW DOWNTOWN WINTER LIGHT FESTIVAL

Glow: Downtown Winter Light Festival is an annual family-friendly light and music festival in the heart of downtown Calgary.

This amazing display of lights will be on display from February 14th to February 18th in Downtown Calgary (304 8th Ave SW).

This free, all-ages event welcomes everyone to warm up winter’s darkest days and experience one-of-a-kind interactive light displays, art, entertainment, food trucks and activations.

GLOW EVENTS:

LOVE LIGHTS – THURSDAY FEBRUARY 14TH 5 P.M. TO 10 P.M.

The most romantic day of year can be celebrated in Downtown Calgary at glow. Take your loved one(s) down to Olympic Plaza to make and design a “Love Light” and place it in Olympic plaza to be apart of a large scale light installation. FREE to attend.

MAKEFASHION – FRIDAY FEBRUARY 15TH 7 P.M. TO 10 P.M.
Brookfield Plaza – 225 6th Ave SW

Join us for an amazing night of “Hacking the runway: high tech meets high fashion”

glow Calgary teams up with MakeFashion for a unique and exciting evening of fashion, light and technology! MakeFashion explores the potential of merging fashion with cutting-edge electronics. MakeFashion Edu is their STEAM platform for students to introduce them to cutting edge new technologies: fusing high-tech and fashion on the runway. This event will be the first of its kind in Canada!

BASS BUS NIGHTLIGHT– SATURDAY FEBRUARY 16TH 5 P.M. TO 10 P.M.

Olympic Plaza will be transformed to and all ages Light Dance Party. Along with local and international DJs (stay tuned for line-up) there will be roving performers with a Bioluminescence theme. Everything from LED Fairy wings, LED Hoopers and custom LED jellyfish! Dress up in your best glow and come down to dance the night away. FREE to attend

glow LIVE – SUNDAY FEBRUARY 17TH – 5 P.M. TO 10 P.M.
glow at Olympic Plaza will showcase the local music scene FREE for all to enjoy. Some of Calgary’s favorites to willtake to the stage to perform and get your toes tappin!

FAMILY SKATE PARTY – MONDAY FEBRUARY 18TH
Skating, music, games and prizes all happening on Family Day. Open to the public and FREE for all to attend.
